11K views · 127K reactions | 🧡🧡🧡 “Posted @withregram • @alexandriaslens Our family made life-sized floating tea cups for a photo! 😳☕️ I also tried out the new Generative Fill tool in @Photoshop (beta) and I’ll be sharing my thoughts below ❤️ #AdobePartner For this photo, we created the life-sized tea cups from scratch using large plastic planters, foam noodles, and giant pizza pans 🤣. After days of gluing, painting, questioning our life choices, and almost giving up because we couldn’t get them to float during the practice run…we picked ourselves up, fixed them, and then we hauled the tea cups all the way down to our local lake! Everything went swimmingly, until it didn’t, and both tea cups capsized, but luckily that was at the very end 😅. After we captured the photo, we took it into @photoshop (beta) and used their new Generative Fill tool to remove Nick out of the photo. It did such an incredible job removing Nick and his reflection while also adding ripples into the water. Real life magic! Something that usually takes an hour or so was finished within seconds 🤯. Truth be told, I’ve been on the fence about AI, but this particular tool feels a bit like the Content-Aware tool and the Clone Stamp tool had a baby and this baby can save photographers and artists a ton of time. Being able to remove objects, like my husband 😅, and extend my images within seconds is a huge time saver for this mama of three! After removing Nick using the new Generative Fill tool, it was time to add some more Photoshopped magic of our own by using hand drawn elements and blending in various Adobe Stock images (like the mushrooms and insects) to bring this scene to life ❤️. I love creating our family photo magic by hand, but for removing unwanted objects or extending our images this new Generative Fill tool is a game changer and there is nothing like it!
